Veteran's Memorial Park

Back on the Trolly for a ride to the Veteran's Memorial Park. This park was built with donations and is very nice. There is a reduced size replica of the Vietnam wall, and memorials to all wars with the exception of Korea which is in the planning and fund raising stage.

After walking around for a time some of us more mature folks elected to return to the Hotel for our afternooner, nap I mean. The younger or at least those in better shape went on a walking tour of the Historic Area of Pensacola. I learned something new, I always wondered where Pensacola got its name? its an indian name pronounced Pansacola, don't know what that means, probable "give me a Pepsi".
